EPOS is a feature in Customers/Quotes (A pop-up button) that allows to create an order which is to be collected by the customer without delivery (Collect load).
In-depth Image Guide with using EPOS:
Step 1: Enter Customers/Quotes
Step 2: Press "EPOS" Button
*Not necessary* EPOS Eye button which allows the EPOS pop-up to become transparent - can be pressed again to remove transparency effect.
Step 3: Press on the Depot drop-down and select a depot at which the order will be ready for the customer to pickup.
Step 4: Search for the customer - type in a name and suggestions will show below the textbox which you need to click- If the specific customer does not show up then move onto next step which will be Step 5.
Step 5: *Not mandatory - If the customer has been found in Step 4 move to step 7* Adding a new customer - Press on the "New Customer" Button and new fields should be shown below.
Step 6: *Not mandatory - If the customer has been found in Step 4 move to step 7* Creating a new customer profile - Complete the five fields providing details of the customer.
Step 7: As shown in the image below "COLLECT" field should be shown in the text box - this informs the system that the order is a collect load and will require pickup.
Step 8: Postcode - Provide the postcode of pickup location to confirm with the system the depot.
Step 9: Enter Customer Vehicle Registration which will pickup the order.
Step 10: Assign a Ticket Number for the job.
Step 11: Select Haulier if available under the drop down otherwise select "Other".
Step 12: Select the Product Category
Step 13: Select the Specific Product Name.
Step 14: Press on the Calculator Icon to precisely calculate the volume of the product to be provided.
Step 15: Provide the calculator parameters for the three fields: Width, Length, Depth - to better understand the order amount. You can use the drop downs on the side of each field to change metrics.
Step 16: After Inputting into the three fields (Width, Length, Depth) select the "Calculate" Button to work out the total volume of the order.
Step 17: Select "Add" Button to view additional order options to add.
Step 18: Enable the additional fields that are needed for the order by clicking the toggle and switching a desired field from "No" to "Yes".
Step 19: After enabling desired additional field/s - adjust the figures for each enabled field if needed.
Step 20: You can use the calculator icon to quickly reduce the "Surcharge" value.
Step 21: Once all the field values have been adjusted continue by pressing "Update".
Step 22: "Extras" Button allows you to add any extra charges which were not present in "Add".
Step 23: Adjust the values for any additional charge needed for the order by incrementing the Quantity next to the field and using either the .
Step 24: Select "Update Extras" once you are done updating the values for the fields.
Step 25: Press on the "Slump" to view the drop down and select the desired Slump level.
Step 26: Select the "/m3" button to view the drop down with the generated pricing options for the product.
Step 27: If an "Extras" additional charge is applied it will be shown in this box with the amount.
Step 28: Select The desired payment method for the order by pressing on the drop down.
Step 29: Include any Quote Notes to be saved with the order in the text box. There is a small icon "i" which shows the different format types when pressed in a pop-up.
Step 30: Continue the order by going into "Checkout"
Step 31: Confirm the EPOS Quoted amount and then Apply a Signature Below. If a signature mistake is made press "Clear Signature" To restart.
Step 32: Complete the payment by pressing the "Card Payment" button.
Step 33: Make sure no details are missing of the card holder who will be charged. Complete all fields under "Details".
Step 34: Input the card details next: Select the CardType, Input the Card Number, Card Expiry Date, and the CVV then before selecting Authorise Card you can select to "Save Card" for future orders - once this is pressed "Save Card" will switch to "Don't Save" which is correct and confirms the card details will be saved.
Step 35: Once the payment has been Authorised we can click the "Not Paid" button to switch this to "Mark Paid" to store a label that the payment has been made. By default the "Print" option for the invoice will be enabled - if you don't want to print the invoice just press the "Print" button and wait for it to change to "No Print" to confirm this change.
Step 36: Press the Complete Order button then select the "Yes" button to confirm.
Step 37: You should now see the order in Customers/Quotes in "Jobs":
