Integrating Timetastic

Overview

Managing when your drivers are on annual leave or otherwise unavailable is a vital part of the day to day scheduling of your jobs. To help you with this AGG SMART can be integrated with Timestastic, a holiday booking system with a centralised and up-to-date record of absences, so you can plan better, and work smarter.

This will allow you to pull through any holiday or time-off booked by a driver straight into your AGG SMART system.

To get started with connecting AGG SMART to your Timetastic system we will need you to send us your Timetastic API key.

How To Find You Timetastic API Key

  1. Log into your Timetastic account.

  2. From the main navigation, go to Settings.

  3. From the left-hand panel go to Integrations.

  4. Locate the API & Webhooks section.

  5. Click Set up API & Webhooks.

    You’ll get a key that should look similar to this:

  6. Copy the key and send it to support@aggsmart.co.uk 


Linking AGG SMART & Timetastic Driver Record

Once our support team have confirmed your AGG SMART and Timestastic accounts are linked you can start to assign drivers in Timetastic to their truck column on AGG SMART.

In Timetastic, you need to edit the driver name and add their resource ID from AGG SMART, which can be found on the "Manage Users" screen within AGG SMART.



So, for example, in the screenshot above, Andy Smith's truck is YN68 EJG and he has an ID of 28, which you can see in the brackets two lines below the truck registration number.

In Timetastic, you would update the driver's name to have the truck ID is in square brackets after the driver name, so it would look like:

Andy Smith [28]

With this setup in place any holiday that Andy books would automatically block out the column on AGG SMART for his truck.
