Setting Mix Material Quantities, Depot Costs & Fuel Costs For Reporting

To ensure your reporting data is as accurate as possible AGG SMART gives you the facility to enter how much sand, cement and stone goes into each of your mix designs.

Opening The Edit Materials Screen

To enter this data into AGG SMART you will need to access the Edit Materials Screen. 

To open this screen do the following:

1) Click Customers / Quotes in the top navigation bar,  as shown in the screenshot below (Arrow#1).

2) Click the Downloads area icon, as shown in the screenshot below (Arrow#2).

3) Click the Edit Materials option, as shown in the screenshot below (Arrow#3).

Using The Edit Materials Screen

When you open the Edit Materials Screen it is split up into three sections, as per the screenshot below:

The three sections consist of:

1) Depot & Material Costs

The top section will show you a list of your depots in rows with each of the materials in a column for each depot. Here you can enter the cost of that particular materials from that particular depot.

2) Fuel Costs

Beneath the depots there is a field to enter the "Fuel Cost (per mile). This value will enable the reports to calculate the cost of fuel for a journey. Please note, changing this value doesn't affect the price which the system will provide on the quote form. It is only used for reporting purposes. 3) Mixes & Material Quantities

The last section is a list of all of the mixes you currently have in the system as rows and gives a column for each of the types of material which could be included in the mix.

How To Update The Data In Edit Materials

The Edit Materials Screen is very easy to update. You simply need to enter the value into the correct box and press the grey button with a circle inside of an arrow, at the end of the row, to ensure the data for that row has been updated.

How To Use The Data In Reporting

Once you have filled out all of the cost data for your depots and have entered the material amounts for you mixes, you will be able to see this data reflected in your reports. These areas include:

In The Shipping Sidebar

On the Shipping Screen you can click the Statistics icon to see your TOTALS IN VIEW. With the correct data filled out in Edit Materials Screen, this data will accurate reflect the amount of materials you have used across of the jobs you are currently viewing.

In The Built-In Downloadable Reports 

You will also see this data pulled through in any reports you download from the Downloads / Reports section of AGG SMART. 

In Custom Reports 

With accurate costing data in your Edit Materials Screen you may want a Profit/Loss Report to available for download. We can add this as a Custom Report to your AGG SMART system, simply send an email to support@aggsmart.co.uk requesting this, and we will look into getting it added to your AGG SMART system.
