Shipping Zones

Shipping Zones

AGG SMART can now allocate a shipping zone to each delivery. The zone is based on the distance from the selected depot and the direction from the depot. This allows easier scheduling of multi-drop orders to the same area.

The diagram below shows how the zoning works. A customer south east of the depot and 20 miles away will be allocated zone SE4 (SE = South East, 4 = 20+ radial miles). A customer South West of the depot and 12 miles away will be allocated zone SW3.

You can then group all SW3 orders together (or SW3 and S3) knowing they are all the same direction and a similar distance from the depot.

AGG SMART shows the zone on provisional and booked on jobs to make grouping easier (see below).

If you would like to use this functionality, please email support@aggsmart.co.uk and we will activate it for you.
