How To Schedule An Online Order Slot

How To Schedule An Online Order Slot

Drag & Drop Onto Scheduler

You can schedule an Online Order Slot using the same drag-and-drop system used by the Post-it Notes, Driver Breaks and Reload Blocks.

Simply click and drag the "Online" box to where you would like it to appear on the Scheduling Screen, as shown in the video below:

Placing Restrictions On The Order

These pink Online Order Blocks can then be edited like a Post-it Note, though the note feature of the Online Order Blocks can only be used to place restrictions on the order. If left blank the job will be unrestricted.

If you would like to place strictions then you can do so on the following:
  1. the maximum amount of m3 which can be poured
  2. the maximum mileage the travel can travel
  3. whether a pump is available or not
To enable these restrictions you would need to edit the Online Order Blocks with comma separated which would represent the three restrictions above:

1st Value - This is the max m3 which can be poured on this order.

2nd Value - This is the max mileage the truck can travel on this order.

3rd Value - This is whether a pump is available (0 = no, 1 = yes).

So for a job where you wanted to restrict the m3 to a maximum of 10m3, the mileage to 20 miles and for there to be no pump available, you would edit the Online Order Block as per the screenshot below:

When placing a restriction on an Online Order Slot you will need to have all three values in place. If one of the values isn't applicable then you would need to place a 0 there. So for example if you want to restrict to 8m3, allow a pump but you do not want to restrict mileage, then you would set the block up as per the screenshot below:

How The Customer Will See Your Slots

Your customers will access your online booking form via the link given to you when the feature is setup. The form has a dropdown for Available Dates / Times, which will populate with the slots you have created, as per the screenshot below:

Online slots are restricted to 12 hours from now. So, any slot on the calendar with a start date within 12 hours will not be shown as a slot option. This is to make sure your operators have time to see and amend the booking if required.
