Tracking Your First Job

Tracking Your First Job

Once you have created and sent out your first job, you can now keep an eye on its progress as the driver carries it out. On the shipping screen, you will see the status indicator of the job change as the driver reaches the various stages of the job.

  1. Immediately after you clicked Send to Truck on your job, the status indicator will have shown SENT, meaning that the job had been processed and sent to the driver's device, but it had not yet been seen by the driver.
  2. Once the driver opens AGG NAV, the job will be added to their list of activities and the status indicator will shift to RECEI. If the driver already has their app open when you send the job, it may appear to go straight to received.
  3. As soon as the driver presses the button to start work on your job, the status will change to INPROG, or in progress. It will remain this way for the duration of the navigation, until the driver states that they have arrived on site.
  4. At which point, the status indicator will change again to show ARR. It is at this point that the driver may take a site photo, or receive a signature from the site contact, but we won't be able to view them just yet.
  5. Once the pour begins, the driver will press the Delivering button on their app, and the status indicator will change to reflect this. AGG SMART tracks how long the delivery takes in order to apply any wait time fees.
  6. Once the delivery is finished and the totals, photos, and signatures are taken, the driver will complete and close the job on their app, changing the status indicator to COMPL.
A short time after the job is completed, depending on the internet signal of the driver's device, you will be able to view the information pertaining to the delivery. Click on the job in the shipping page to open the job pane.

Here, you will see that information about the delivery has been populated. There are three key areas that I want to bring to your attention:
  1. Below the quoted concrete quantity and price, you can now see the delivered amount and price that has been signed for by the site contact. Had the delivered amount differed from the quote and the price re-calculated, the new amounts would be shown here and would be confirmed as having been signed off for by the site contact.
  2. The delivery information will now include the delivered amount for this delivery, as well as a running total for the order, should the order contain multiple deliveries. The amount of time on site, as well as the site temperature are also logged for your reference and potential additional charge/liability waiver.
  3. As well as logging the time on site, AGG SMART also logs the exact time that the driver set off to the site, arrived on site, and marked the job as completed. Again, this is for your reference should any challenges be made to delivery timings.
You can also use the ribbon options towards the bottom of the job pane to view additional information. On the Signatures option, you can view both the signatures taken from the site contact, and any photos taken during the job.

The site photo will be headed by the stage of the job that it was taken, in this case it shows Off Site Photo as this was captured once the job was completed. The date, time, and co-ordinate location of the photo is also stamped on the bottom of the image. If you access the signatures screen and do not see any images, please wait a few minutes as the speed at which the images come through is dependant on the driver's internet signal.

Another useful option here is the PRINT section. From here, you can view a copy of the Proof of Delivery ticket that the customer will/has received.

I'll attach the ticket to this help page for you to download and view. Just as with the whole of AGG SMART, your PODs will include your company logo in place of ours, as well as all of the information of the job that you have chosen to show to customers. On this example, we have included the site picture in the POD. This is not a system default. If you are interested in including this, give our service team a call, email, or follow the QR code on the login screen to communicate with us via WhatsApp.

Now that we have completed the job, we can move on to checking that it is ready for invoicing.
